What is a book on CD and how does it relate to an audiobook?
I want to check out a book from my library that i can listen to on my ipod but there are two kinds to choose from. One is called a “sound recording (book on CD)” and the other is called an “electronic resource (audiobook)”. Is there a difference between the two and if there is which one would be better to check out?
Also, how am i able to put this onto my ipod.
Sort of. A book on a CD is actually a form of an audiobook, since the book is being “read to you” from the CD. But, an audiobook can also be in cassette form, as well as a file on many electronic devices, such as MP3 Players, iPods, computers, and Kindles (I have an audiobook on my Kindle). So, you would be getting an audiobook, either way. As for getting it on to the iPod, you will have to go and ask your local library about this; they should know how.
